Heather Fitzenhagen is a lifelong member of the Republican Party, a conservative community leader, wife, mother, business owner and neighbor in Fort Myers. She has dedicated her life to making a difference in the community in which she lives through volunteerism, leadership and advocacy of community and business organizations, with a common goal of building a better Florida.

Heather is not afraid of hard work, and her achievements are many. Heather was a political science major in college, put herself through law school, and then went on to start her own business with her husband, Richard DeBoest. She understands first-hand the need to eliminate unnecessary government regulations that hamper businesses from starting and expanding, and the importance of creating incentive programs that will generate new business and strengthen Florida’s economy.

As a wife and mother, nothing is more precious to Heather than securing a better future for our next generation in Southwest Florida. She leads her family by example, through her dedication to causes that improve education, safety, health and economic well-being for all families in our community.

Community Advocate

Heather works wholeheartedly on causes that improve our community. She is a strong advocate for early learning intervention, outreach for at-risk teens, heart health for women, business growth and senior care. Some of the organizations Heather commits her time to serving are PACE Center for Girls, American Heart Association, the American Red Cross and Hope Hospice.
